Joan Purswell

Joan Purswell received her Doctorate in Piano Performance and her Certificate in Performance with an emphasis on Suzuki Teaching. She has performed as soloist with the San Francisco, New Orleans and Seattle Symphonies and was Principal Pianist and Music Librarian for Pacific Northwest Ballet for fourteen years. She is currently Music Director and Organist for the Fauntleroy Church in West Seattle. She occupies her spare time with quilting and playing with her grandson, Max.
