Shiang-Yin Lee holds a Doctoral of Music Arts degree in cello performance at the University of Washington. She earned her Masters at the University of Texas and her Bachelors at University of North Texas, and received her Suzuki teaching certificate from the Chicago Suzuki Institute. Shiang-Yin studied cello pedagogy with internationally renowned Phillis Young and Irene Sharp, and studied with teachers Toby Saks, Cordelia Miedel, Raymond Davis, Yehuda Hanani and Marion Feldman. Her performance credits include soloist appearances in both the U.S. and Taiwan as well as playing with the Everett and Federal Way Symphony Orchestras and Seattle Choral Orchestra. Before joing the Pacific Northwest School of Music, Shiang-Yin taught at the University of Texas and at the Texas String Project.
